A collective trust is a bank-administered trust that holds assets and meets specific criteria within regulations published by the federal Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Comerica Bank & Trust, N.A. “Comerica” is the sponsor and trustee of the FIT Risk Based Collective Trusts. Prime Capital Investment Advisors is the subadvisor to the trusts. A collective trust is only available to investors in qualified retirement plans such as 401(k)s. A collective trust is not available to investors in health and welfare plans, IRAs, 403(b) plans or the general public.
